Schimmelpennick Huys Hotel is located within the heart of the City of Groningen, on 53 Oosterstraat. Paula Karistinos-Smit rescued this historical monument from developers and squatters. Under her direction it was restored and given its original classical character and features. The resulting nostalgic building can now be enjoyed by everyone: those from Groningen and those visiting this beautiful city perhaps for the first time. You are welcome here seven days a week as our hotel guest, or just to take a drink, have lunch, or enjoy a special a la carte dinner in unrivalled atmosphere and surroundings (including, during the Summer, in the largest and most beautiful French-style enclosed terraced garden of all Groningen).
